Naschmarkt is Vienna’s best-known market which has a great choice of food from all over the world. Here you can buy fruits, vegetables, spices, meat, cheese and taste various delicacies from all over the world. Naschmarkt is not the only market, nowadays it’s – more and more – a place for eating something and meet friends. There are many restaurants where you can taste local wine and try some new exotic dishes. This place is definitely worth visit, especially on Saturday when the flea market is there.
Naschmarkt is located between two streets that run parallel, Linke Wienzeile and Rechte Wienzeile, best get off at metro Karlsplatz (U1, U2, U4) or Kettenbrückengasse (U4).

You took lovely pictures of the Naschmarkt.
I think it is an underrated remarkable one, and very suitable when one wants to bring back home some culinary souvenirs. And it is probably one of the few in Europe which transforms into an entertainment area in the evening.
And here is my take on the Nachmarkt: http://askan.biz/2014/09/11/naschmarkt-vienna-austria/
Yes, it’s great place indeed. Especially during the summer when evenings are warm it’s nice to spend some time with friends here. But there are other markets in Vienna like Brunnenmarkt, which is not as touristic place as Naschmarkt. It’s more for the locals and I enjoyed it a lot.
